Designing an off road buggy

Second year engineering students present their design concepts for human powered off road buggys.

Year of Publication2010

Second year engineering students at Harper Adams University College are designing human powered off road vehicles that will be built to compete against each other later this year. During a presentation morning to members of staff and specially invited guests, students were asked to explain their designs and prototypes with the help of scale models and CAD drawings. Once the buggys have been constructed, they will then be tested on a specially designed course with varying obstacles. A second video showing the completed vehicles in action can be found in OpenFields here: http://ofi.openfields.org.uk/1.10050714
