This strategy is the UK Government's response both to the food challenges – sustainability, security and health – and to the call for more joined up food policy. It sets out the priorities for the UK Government on food for 2030: 1. Enabling and encouraging people to eat a healthy, sustainable diet2. Ensuring a resilient, profitable and competitive food system3. Increasing food production sustainably4. Reducing the food system’s greenhouse gas emissions5. Reducing, reusing and reprocessing waste6. Increasing the impact of skills, knowledge, research and technology
