What’s new? Improved coordination between Common Strategic Framework funds, a new framework for assisting the smooth operation of rural development programmes, improved strategic programming, the opportunity to bring in thematic sub-programmes to address the needs of particular types of area (e.g. mountain areas) or particular groups (e.g. young farmers, small farms, short supply chains), a simplified menu of measures, a ‘start-up’ kit for Leader, the possibility to combine different funds for an integrated local development strategy, support to help bridge the gap between research and practical farming and reinforced networking.
