Energy and education: carbon reduction in College buildings

An account of the measures taken to reduce energy use in buildings at Harper Adams University College

For environmental and educational reasons Harper Adams has pledged to reduce carbon emissions from College buildings. Strategies to fulfil this pledge include the adoption of a sustainable building design for the Bamford Library and the use of photovoltaic arrays and solar panels on student accommodation.
