The use of an interactive cost/benefit model shows how the benefits of health planning and footbath medication can help in the control of digital dermatitis. The hypothetical example provided highlights the costs and benefits of regular use of a footbath in a 200-cow herd. Information is provided on how to access University of Reading's cost/benefit model.
