Reseeding pasture for horses

Steps in making a reseed and early management of a newly-sown pasture are outlined .

Pasture grazed by horses may need to be reseeded because of damage by the feet of horses or other reasons for poor grass growth. Brief guidance is provided for the horse owner on the following: the need for reseeding a horse pasture; timing of reseeding; steps in making a reseed; and early management of the newly-sown pasture.
