Reducing beef feed costs: the role of maize silage
A report on the effect of feeding different levels of concentrate on the physical and financial performance of bulls on a maize silage diet.

A trial to compare rations containing a low or high level of concentrate fed to bulls on a maize silage diet found no significant difference in animal performance. There was, however, a substantial increase in financial margins for those on the low concentrate ration.
