A study investigating different harvest dates and methods of preserving processed whole-crop wheat.

Processing whole-crop wheat at higher dry matter values may optimise crop yield and permit a longer harvest window. This study investigated the effects on cow performance of feeding diets of whole-crop wheat which were harvested at different stages of maturity and examined the need for preserving the whole-crop wheat with a urea-based additive.
