A Relu Policy and Practice Note (No. 6) summarising a research project to investigate the effectiveness of policies to promote healthy eating, the potential for modified agricultural husbandry to produce healthier foods and the implications for the countryside.

The impact of policies, if successful, that promote healthy eating are projected in terms of shifts in people's consumption patterns and the resulting changes in agricultural regimes and land use patterns which in turn are projected as possibly having effects on landscapes, farmland biodiversity and rural employment.
