An outline of calculation methods for partial budgets.

The effects of small changes in a farming system can be assessed using a partial budget. This shows the financial gains and losses arising from these changes. Two worked examples are provided. One details the financial effects of considering change within a single enterprise. The other example demonstrates the financial effects of substituting one enterprise for another.
