Rents that were reviewed in the year to 25 March 2011 rose by an average of 24%. Rents are rising for all farm types – the stongest increases were for farm business tenancies. Rents on poorly equipped holdings are considerably lower than those on well or averagely equipped holdings. higher quality land commands higher rents
